Steffen has more than 20 years of experience in the intellectual property field. He joined Zacco in 2005, working with prosecution of patents, utility models, and designs as well as matters including infringement and invalidation.
Prior to Zacco, 1998 to 2005 he was employed by Larsen Birkeholm A/S Skandinavisk Patentbureau as a Patent Consultant. 1987 to 1998 he worked at the Danish Patent Office as Examiner in the Patent Department and as a consultant in the sales and marketing department. His technical experience comprises mechanical engineering in general, joints, structures, processing, agricultural machines, slaughtering equipment, transport, vehicles (cars, trains, airplanes and ships), digging and earth moving, furniture, process equipment.
Steffen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanics in 1987 from the Technical University of Denmark. He is also a European Design Attorney.
