Michael has more than 15 years experience in the field of intellectual property. He is qualified both as a European patent attorney and as a German patent attorney. Prior to joining Zacco in 2018, Michael worked in various Munich based patent law firms and was a partner at a renowned patent law firm for several years.
Michael studied physics in Munich and Oxford. He graduated with a Diplom from the Technical University of Munich and also holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Oxford. Further, he obtained a doctorate from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, where his research was in the field of nanotechnology.
Michael advises on all aspects of intellectual property. He has wide experience of patent drafting, patent prosecution as well as opposition and appeal procedures. Michael’s patent practice covers a broad range of technologies, including telecommunications, semiconductor technology, electronics, automotive engineering and medical devices.
