Bjarne joined Zacco in 2018, left in 2019 and joined again in 2022. He has been working as a patent attorney in private practice from 2007 to 2013. In 2014 he started his own private practice, which was sold to Zacco in 2018. Before entering the world of IP, Bjarne worked for 12 years within the field of biomedical engineering, and he has spent a total of six years working in Ethiopia for a church-based Danish organisation.
Besides advising clients, primarily within the fields of patent drafting, filing and prosecution, Bjarne is also responsible for the day-to-day running of Zacco’s office located in Herning. He has been working with a wide variety of clients within many different technical fields and has acquired a broad experience and technical understanding of mechanical, electronic and biomedical patent aspects.
Bjarne holds M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering (from the Technical University of Denmark) and in Biomedical Engineering (from Aarhus University) and he is an authorized European Patent Attorney.
