About Amin Abbaszadeh

Amin has joined Zacco in 2021 in his role as patent attorney. Previously he worked as in-house patent attorney as a part of IPR and Licensing in the telecommunication company Ericsson. Amin has also experience from private practice from another patent law firm where he started his journey into IP in 2017 as associate patent attorney.

Amin holds a PhD in Physics with focus on biological applications of microtechnology and laser physics from University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Amin also holds his master’s degree in integrated electronic system design from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Amin has broad knowledge in a wide range of subjects and has worked with inventions in the fields of electronics, optical and wireless communication systems including 5G core network and RAN implementation, imaging systems, computer sciences, microtechnology and semiconductors, microfluidics, antenna technologies, automotive technologies, IoT, AI and machine learning.

Amin is a part-qualified European patent attorney and the main focus of his day to day work revolves around drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and patentability and freedom to operate analyses. Amin also has experience in patent infringement and validity analyses as well as oral proceedings before the European Patent Office. ”
